The Pre-Order Process
🔍 Find a Pre-Order
Browse pre-order listings on the Pre-Orders page. Each listing includes the expected release date, the price, production status, and how many spots remain.
🛒 Place Your Pre-Order
Click 'Reserve Now' and complete checkout. Depending on the seller's configuration, you pay a deposit (typically 20–50%) or the full price upfront. Your order is confirmed instantly.
🏭 Seller Prepares the Item
The seller sources, manufactures, or imports the product. You can track the production status ('Upcoming', 'In Production', 'Ready to Ship') directly on the listing.
🚚 Item Ships to You
On or around the expected release date the seller dispatches your item. You'll receive a notification with your tracking number once it ships.
📦 Receive & Enjoy
Your pre-ordered item arrives at your door. If there are any delays, the seller or LetItRip support will notify you via email and in-app notification.
Cancellation & Refunds
You can cancel a pre-order before it is dispatched and receive a full refund. Once the item has shipped, standard refund and return policies apply. Deposits may be non-refundable after production begins — check the individual listing.
What If the Seller Is Delayed?
If a seller cannot fulfil a pre-order, affected buyers are automatically refunded in full. LetItRip monitors pre-order fulfilment closely and takes action against sellers who repeatedly fail to deliver.
Price Lock Guarantee
The price you pay at the time of your pre-order is locked in. If the seller reduces the price before dispatch you will automatically receive the difference as store credit.
