A reproduction — the community calls them midfakes — is an unbranded 1st-copy of an original design, mostly Chinese-made, carrying no manufacturer's marque. Quality is often genuinely good, and some tournament formats permit certain reproduction parts.

It is not the same as a cheap counterfeit. A counterfeit is poor-quality and can contain lead or cadmium in its metal parts, which is a safety matter — we do not allow those listed at all. A reproduction is a legitimate thing to sell when it is labelled, and every listing on LetItRip states its authenticity as Original, Reproduction, or Unverified.

🛑 If a seller calls something "aftermarket", "custom" or "upgraded" without naming a manufacturer, they are describing a reproduction. Ask.

Yes, and it is already included in the price you see. A ₹999 listing costs ₹999 — of which about ₹47.57 is GST at the 5% rate that applies to most collectibles (HSN 9503).

Your invoice breaks it out line by line with the HSN code and rate, and splits it into CGST + SGST or IGST depending on where you are. Nothing is added at the last step.

Five things, cheapest check first:

• Price. A ₹400 Beyblade X where the market is ₹1,500 is not a bargain. The single most reliable signal.
• Spelling. Counterfeiters alter the name to dodge trademarks — Pegasis for Pegasus, Jupitar for Jupiter, trailing apostrophes, digits for letters.
• No marque. Genuine parts carry Takara Tomy or Hasbro moulding. "No brand" means reproduction at best.
• Invented product codes. Takara Tomy does not issue -00 retail SKUs or colour suffixes like BB108gold.
• Screws and finish. Originals use consistent tri-wing or Phillips screws and clean paint edges; fakes mix them and bleed.

If a listing bundles a "free storage box" and leads with the seller's own brand name rather than the marque, treat it as a reproduction regardless of what it says.

The item price already includes GST, so the difference is the things you chose plus one small platform fee:

• Shipping, set by the seller — free, a flat rate, or a live courier quote for your address.
• Platform fee — capped at ₹10 per checkout, plus 18% GST on that fee. It is charged once for the whole order, not per seller or per item.
• Anything you ticked: COD handling, gift wrap, WhatsApp updates, shipment or sale protection.

Every line is itemised before you pay. If a figure appears you did not choose, that is a bug worth reporting rather than a policy.

Escrow means your payment is held by LetItRip — not sent directly to the seller. The seller ships the item, you receive it, and only when you confirm delivery (or 7 days pass without a dispute) does the seller get paid. This protects both buyers and sellers from fraud.

Each store sets its own return policy. Most stores accept returns within 7 days for items not as described. Graded cards (PSA/BGS/CGC) and sealed products are typically final sale. Always check the store's return policy before purchasing. If a seller doesn't honor their policy, open a support ticket and we'll mediate.
