Rock Orso D125B is a defense-type Beyblade featuring a bear-inspired design, first released as a Takara Tomy exclusive with the Extreme Beystadium and later as a standalone Hasbro Starter Pack. Known for its sturdy but outdated defensive build, Rock Orso was used by the Kumade brothers and Nowaguma in Beyblade: Metal Fusion and Metal Masters.
The Orso Energy Ring is designed with bear claws and hexagonal slopes, offering some defensive potential. However, its light weight and poor weight distribution make it outclassed by heavier and more optimized Energy Rings like Leone and Lynx. It suffers from high recoil, reducing its ability to withstand strong attacks.
The Rock Fusion Wheel has six large protrusions with shallow gaps, providing moderate defense but lacking the weight and endurance needed for top-tier competitive play. Its rounded design lacks the aggressive Smash Attack needed for offense, making it a defense-type wheel that struggles against modern opponents.
The Defense 125 (D125) spin track, despite its name, does not significantly improve defense. While it adds a slight weight distribution adjustment, it is outclassed by superior defense tracks like GB145 and BD145.
The Ball (B) performance tip is a simple hemispherical tip that increases friction with the stadium floor, helping Rock Orso stay centered. While B is a stable and reliable tip for early defense-type builds, it is ultimately outclassed by Wide Ball (WB) and Rubber Ball (RB) for superior grip and stability.
Rock Orso holds a unique place in MFB history as the only Beyblade used by four different characters simultaneously. With its distinct bear-themed design and history as a limited release in Japan, it remains a fun collectible for MFB fans.
